The 5 Hole: Going Wild on a Sunday

Things just seem to get more and more interesting in Islanders Country nowadays. Yesterday, it was announced that Ryan Pulock would miss four to six weeks plus the ice at Barclays was a disgrace on Friday. To some a win against the Minnnesota Wild earlier this evening would help cure some of these woes and give them their first two game winning streak of the young season. Well they got exactly what they wanted. A 6-3 victory where they got goals from three different defensemen was just what the doctor ordered. The win gave the Isles their first two game winning streak of the season going into a big week ahead with games against the Habs, Penguins and Maple Leafs coming up.
