The 5 Hole Playoff Edition: Frustrated by Florida

If you’re an Islander fan, Sunday feels like it was five years ago already. But in reality, it’s only been two nights since Thomas Hickey beat Roberto Luongo in overtime to send Barclays Center into a memorable party. Now the time to get back to business was on tap, as earlier this evening the Islanders looked to accomplish something they haven’t been able to do in 14 years: Win back to back playoff games. If the Isles were going to take a step closer to winning their first playoff series in 23 years, they were going to have to win at any cost against a confident Florida Panthers squad. It was another crazy night, but the Isles came out on the losing end, 2-1. The series is now tied 2-2 with game five Friday night. Social media recap is below.
