ESPN Travels to Green Bay for Two Days of Training Camp Shows as the Packers Kick Off Their 100th Season

Bart-Starr-Old-School-PackersESPN will travel to Green Bay for two days of live shows this week as the Packers kick off their NFL Training Camp and the franchise’s 100th season of football. Green Bay native and Packers season ticketholder John Anderson will host NFL Live (1:30 p.m. ET) and segments of SportsCenter on Thursday and Friday, July 26-27, from the Packers Experience with former Packers players Matt Hasselbeck and Desmond Howard.

Other ESPN commentators expected to be in Green Bay include NFL Insider Adam Schefter (Thurs.) and NFL features reporter Jac Collinsworth. Pro Football Hall of Famer Jerry Kramer and former Packers wide receiver Antonio Freeman are scheduled to be on-set guests. ESPN shows will feature Packers-themed segments, including a nod to the team’s training camp tradition of players riding bikes with young fans to practice.

In addition to covering the Packers, ESPN has extensive NFL Training Camp coverage throughout the week with NFL Insiders and NFL Nation team reporters filing updates from many other team sites. Tim McManus and Sal Paolantonio will cover the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles for several days (Thurs. – Sat.), Dianna Russini visits the Cleveland Browns for Baker Mayfield’s debut (Thurs.), and Courtney Cronin, Josina Anderson and Keyshawn Johnson report from Minnesota where Kirk Cousins takes over as the Vikings quarterback (Sat.).
