The 5 Hole: Success in Smashville

John Tavares  scored three times in the 3rd period for his second hat trick in three games as the New York Islanders smashed the Nashville Predators with a 6-2 victory Saturday Night at Bridgestone Arena.
Jordan Eberle scored his first two goals as an Islanders and New York scored 3 Power Play goals, including one from Ryan Pulock that gave the team the lead for good in the second period. The three power play goals was the most for the Isles on the road since March of 2014 against the Vancouver Canucks.
Overall, six different Islanders  had multi-point nights Jaroslav Halak made 28 saves in the win. Next up for the Isles is the surprising Vegas Golden Knights as the expansion visit Barclays Center.
