The 5 Hole: No Hollywood Ending

With their first win away from Barclays Center under their belt, the Islanders looked to make it two in a row, and head back home with a winning road trip. New York headed to Hollywood for a date with the Los Angeles Kings. The contest was the second half of a back-to-back for New York after they were victorious in San Jose 24 hours earlier. Doug Weight made no changes to his lineup, while he gave Jaro Halak the start in between the pipes.
The Isles fell 3-2 in regulation. They finish the road trip 1-2-0 and now get four days off before playing the Rangers for the first time this season. Social media recap is below:
