After a few days in the sun, the Islanders continued their California swing last night against the San Jose Sharks. New York lost both contests to the Sharks a year ago, each a one goal defeat. The Isles were also looking for their first win on the road this season, and some momentum as they head to Los Angeles tomorrow night for the second half of a back-to-back.
The Islanders were victorious 3-1 as Thomas Greiss made 40 saves. New York got contributions all around, and kept the high-octane Sharks at bay. The best hits from social media can be found here:
