Its been a long, draining summer, but finally New York Islanders hockey was back. Doug Weight and his crew are facing high expectations as their journey back to the postseason and maybe more started tonight in Columbus against the Blue Jackets. This was the first game for both teams in the 2017-18 season, and was the first of a back-to-back for the Isles as they head back to Brooklyn for their home opener against Buffalo tomorrow night.
