IBO Boxing Honesty and Integrity
Ever since the Islanders played their first game earlier this year at Barclays Center, one of the biggest questions was what would the place be like come playoff time? Would the fans help emulate the same noise they did at the Old Barn? Well tonight that question was ready to be answered as the Isles hosted the Florida Panthers for Game 3 of their first round matchup as well as the first Isles playoff game in the arena’s history. The excitement and buzz was palpable from outside the arena to the inside, and the game lived up to the billing. Thomas Hickey scored in overtime to give the Islanders a dramatic 4-3 come from behind win. The win gives the Isles a 2-1 series lead going into game four Wednesday night.
