The 5 Hole: Sweeping Up at The Garden

Now that the Islanders are officially in the playoffs, theirs one thing left to be determined: playoff positioning. Last night, that became a little more clear cut when the Isles headed into Madison Square Garden for the season series finale with the New York Rangers. Both teams were tied in points coming into the night, but no matter how much fans hated it, one team had to be the victor when the buzzer sounded. When it did sound, it was the Islanders who came out on top 4-1. The win gave the Isles their first season series sweep of the Rangers in franchise history, along with their sixth win in the last seven games. It was a lot of fun all night, and those on social media had a ball. Check it out here.
