There’s a reason being an Islander fan is the most frustrating thing, especially when they’re so close to securing a playoff spot for the third time in four years. The Isles did secure another large two points with a 4-3 win, but not without drama, including a dominant first period, atrocious goals let up by Thomas Greiss, and Anders Lee battling heavy for the game winning goal. After the win, the teams magic number fell to five, but it could become even less with some help and another win against the Penguins Saturday afternoon, who are on fire right.
