IBO Boxing Honesty and Integrity
For the New York Islanders, the name of the game is: URGENCY. The past two weeks, that word has seemed to escape the Isles psyche. Tonight was a chance for that trend to change and opportunity to right the ship that has begun to sunk deeper little by little. Their opponent, the Ottawa Senators were coming on the second half of a back to back, along with not seeing the playoffs anywhere in sight. The boys in blue and orange desperately needed to show a better effort, and they did. A 3-1 victory snapped the teams’ four game losing streak and put them just one point behind the Penguins for third in the metro.
