The 5 Hole: Burning Up in Cowtown

Isles fans could not have asked for a better start to the biggest road trip of the season. The team is 2-0-0 so far and have outscored their opponents 5-2 in that span. Earlier tonight they took the show to Western Canada for the first time this season for a date with the underachieving Calgary Flames. Back in late October these two teams faced off with the Islanders prevailing 4-0 in Jaroslav Halak’s second shutout of the early season. The Isles did the best they could to mimic that performance but in a lower scoring fashion with a comeback 2-1 win in overtime. Now 3-0-0 on the road trip, and 7-1-1 in the past nine with tonight’s win, the Isles are playing their best at the right time. Below is the best hits from tonight’s triumph in the Stampede City.

I almost just bashed a wall because of that.
