Everyone knew coming in to tonight that the Islanders were going to face a huge challenge going up against one of the best the West has to offer in the Los Angeles Kings, but no one told them that. The Isles were up to the challenge as they’ve been when any team from the Western Conference has made there way to Barclays Center. An impressive 5-2 win gave the Isles their third win in a row. The Isles have now outscored their opponents 18-6 in the past three games on home ice, plus ended their slate against teams from out West at home with a dominating 12-0-2 record. Saturday night the Isles could extend their win streak to four when they take on the Carolina Hurricanes, but for now enjoy tonight’s big victory and check out the best hits from social media.
