The 5 Hole: Defeated in D.C.

After a convincing win Tuesday night against Minnesota, the Islanders headed down to the nation’s capital for a showdown with the division leading Capitals. Tonight was the first time the Isles have played in D.C. since losing in game seven of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals last spring. With points at a premium and revenge on their side, the Isles fought hard but came out on the losing end of a 3-2 decision. It was one of the best games the team played all season. Hopefully they can take this game as a positive and use it as fuel for a huge weekend ahead. Below is tonight’s social media recap.
The other Russian scores…Drink.

Say that again?

That’s kind of his thing, isn’t it?

Could feel it up and down my spine.

The comparison just makes my blood boil.

That pain will sit for a good day and half.
