The 5 Hole: Singing Da Blues

After an exhilarating shootout win over the Rangers Wednesday, the Islanders were back in action earlier this evening. Their opposition, the St. Louis Blues. The Islanders had already defeated the Blues 3-2 at the beginning of the season on a Mikhail Grabovski overtime goal. Tonight’s result was another hard fought win, with a score of 2-1 in the shootout. This game was the first of a back to back, as the Isles head to Ottawa tomorrow night with a chance to make it five wins in a row. The top hits from social media of tonight’s victory/defeat can be seen below, enjoy.

“I must score on you. Go for it.”

Bartender: Give me a White Russian.

I absolutely love this trend.

Jesus Greiss.

Team is feeling the flow. Working it, working it.

Added incentive: One free honk for every save made.

Bonus: There many more adjectives where that came from.
