The Islanders took their first trip to the state of Florida last night. The first stop of a back to back was a matchup with the Florida Panthers. After falling behind 2-0, the Islanders tied the game and eventually lost the game in a wild shootout, losing by a final of 3-2. With one point in the bank, a possible three out of four points could be in the cards if the defeat the Lightning tonight. Here’s the top social media activity from last night’s game.
Seems this is the trend anytime they are playing in Sunrise. Not good enough.
Cizikas line only one playing with snarl so far. #isles in a bit of a disorganized lull getting through neutral zone.

Is Brooklyn in the house? I thought so.
Okay, Grabovski and Kulemin taking our sideline reporter to a russian restaurant in Brighton Beach is a terrific idea. #Isles #Leafs

So your telling me Nick Leddy has to score to be effective? Yes! Yes he does!
Thanksgiving has come and gone and Nick Leddy still hasn't scored. This is a problem. #Isles

Made history for the wrong reason. Sigh.
.@NYIslanders/@FLAPanthers shootout was 1st in NHL history (of at least 5 rounds) in which all but 1 shooter scored (9 of 10) @EliasSports
