Watch/smart phone/clock radio/wake-up call/rooster that can act as an alarm clock: I guess not.
Josh Ho-Sang was sent back to Niagara of the OHL after being late to report to day one of New York Islanders training camp, as first reported by Arthur Staple of Newsday. Staple went on to say that many Isles higher-ups had praised Ho-Sang’s behavior this summer, so this came as a shock to the team and fan base alike. There had been reports about his off-ice comments and certain….”braggadocio”, especially after he came out saying he was “insulted” by being left off Team Canada’s world juniors team last year.
Here’s hoping that Josh can use this as motivation and continues to kill it in the OHL, as it was a long shot he’d make the team out of camp anyway, but this is just another example of the hard and fast rules that Charles Wang and Co. have set forth for their players. This should also put to bed the notion that Brock Nelson would have been given an exception if he didn’t sign before yesterday.
In the future, can we get Josh a proper wake-up call? Or at least a clock radio that HAS ONLY ONE KNOB?!
