GSE Worldwide announced the launch of a new division dedicated exclusively to negotiating NIL deals on behalf of amateur athletes. GSE’s NIL division is headed by GSE Worldwide Executive Vice President Russ Spielman, who brings over three decades of NIL experience in the sports marketing field. Throughout his career, Spielman has worked with icons including Bo Jackson, Steve Young, Warren Moon and young superstars including Jarvis Landry, Jaylen Waddle, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Dexter Lawrence II. GSE’s NIL division aims to distill its expertise in representing athletes to guide athletes and corporations through the growing industry. Since NIL was instituted this past July, GSE has negotiated hundreds of deals for its NIL clients.
As NIL deals continue to evolve and become more sophisticated, it becomes increasingly important to rely on advisors and experts who can help student athletes maximize their value while not undermining future opportunities. GSE is building upon its already potent lineup of clients, including Alabama’s John Metchie, Brian Robinson, Josh Jobe, Jordan Battle, Jaden Shackleford, and Jahvon Quinerly, Penn State’s Noah Cain, Utah’s Brant Kuithe, Michigan State’s Payton Thorne, Villanova’s Justin Moore, Vanderbilt’s Re’Mahn Davis, and University of Utah’s Cameron Rising.
“As the NIL landscape continues to evolve, we at GSE want to be at the forefront of that progress, offering amateur athletes an advisor they can rely upon to help guide them through the complexities of a burgeoning industry,” said Russ Spielman. “We’re proud of the roster of student athletes we’re currently working with and look forward to continuing to grow in this area as NIL continues to become an important part of advertiser’s overall marketing strategy.”
