ShotTracker And Inside Edge Partner To Produce Automated Basketball Insights Powered By Ai

ShotTracker, and Inside Edge, Inc., a leading provider of in-depth sports analytics products, today announced a partnership to integrate ShotTracker’s cutting-edge NCAA men’s and women’s basketball data with Inside Edge’s “Remarkable” AI technology.

ShotTracker’s sensor-based player and ball tracking generates real-time analytics currently used by leading NCAA Division I coaching staffs to make real-time game decisions, and major broadcast partners to produce engaging graphics for fans. Inside Edge, with its patented “Remarkable” analytics platform, currently serves the majority of MLB teams and broadcast networks. Through this partnership, Remarkable will translate the rich data captured by ShotTracker into text-based, easy-to-consume insights, trends and match-up advantages. The partnership will provide broadcast production and digital publisher editorial teams access to pre-game and real-time NCAA basketball notes and analytics reports for use in unique storytelling during and around live events.

“The real-time statistics we track are invaluable, but combining that data with custom notes through Inside Edge moves us ahead again in servicing our broadcast and media partners,” said ShotTracker Co-Founder and President/COO Davyeon Ross. “The more tools we can proactively offer our clients, the more advanced and efficient we all become, and ShotTracker is proud to take this next step.”

“The combination of ShotTracker’s powerful data with our Remarkable tech is a perfect match on many levels. We are excited to join forces with an exceptional partner like ShotTracker to enhance the fan experience, bring unique insights to teams and broadcasters, and eventually sports bettors as well,” said Inside Edge CEO Randy Istre.
