Fan Controlled Football (FCF), the only professional sports league that empowers fans to call the plays in real-time, today unveiled the first-ever professional sports league uniforms voted on by fans. The inaugural season uniforms were created by Champion Athleticwear, the league’s exclusive and official outfitter.
The winning uniform designs for each of the league’s four teams were revealed today in a special unboxing by FCF owners, which include some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment. Fans can now go to the following social media posts by league owners to view the historic jerseys for each team:
- Glacier Boyz: Hip Hop mogul Quavo and YouTube sensation Deestroying
- Wild Aces: Los Angeles Chargers Austin Ekeler
- Zappers: New York Mets Trevor May
- Beasts: Pro wrestling superstar Miro
Over the last few months, fans from across the globe have submitted concepts for, and voted, on a variety of team branding decisions, including team names and logos. Based on the winning designs, Champion created the official on-field uniforms and practice apparel for the league’s four teams. Official FCF and Champion gear for the four teams is available to purchase in the FCF online store at store.fcf.io.
The FCF’s inaugural season will kick-off on Feb. 13, live on Twitch.
The FCF, which combines the passion and competitiveness of live and fantasy sports with the interactivity of video games, is the first league in professional sports history where fans will get to call all the shots, from branding and personnel decisions to real-time play calling.
Built for the digital audience, FCF’s live games will be held in Atlanta, with each game 60 minutes in length and live streamed on Twitch. FCF teams will be stacked with professional players from the CFL, XFL, and IFL, along with NCAA Division I and II programs playing a fast-paced, high-scoring 7-vs-7 style of football on a 50-yard x 35-yard field with 10-yard end zones.
