Joshua vs Fury: The Stage Is Set

Very impressed by Anthony Joshua’s perfect masterpiece win vs Kubrat Pulev last night at Wembley. Total domination, total control over a tough challenger. AJ is in his prime now and ready for unification with Tyson Fury, which will be the near equivalent of Ali vs Frazier, Lennox vs Holy, Holmes vs Cooney, Lewis vs Vitali.

Two incredible all time great heavyweight champions to settle once and for all who is the kingpin. Going to need months to figure out my prediction. Right now I favor Joshua but may flip flop back and forth a few times. This is that kind of a fight. Both have exceptional arsenals and extraordinary skillsets and mental fortitude.

Both are singing the same song that they are both ready to rumble. Fury says he will KO Joshua in three rounds. Joshua and Eddie Hearn are saying they will do everything they can to make the fight reality, with Joshua emphasizing actions over any fancy words or colorful predictions. Bob Arum is also all-in to produce the clash of heavyweight titans.

The stage is set to make the biggest heavyweight title fight in boxing history and nothing seems possible to roadblock it from happening, not even the WBO forcing Joshua to face mandatory Oleksander Usyk next. Expect Usyk to accept step aside millions to be the first in line challenger to the victor.
