The name Mike Tyson is on the same level of fame and popularity as Muhammad Ali, just in a different way. They both electrified the most challenging sport on earth and left us mortals in awe. They reigned supreme, inspired millions, and in the end each became positive, beloved figures. I support Mike Tyson’s farewell exhibition tour, I want to see him in the ring again even in his 50s in slow paced soft sparring. I want to see him in the boxing realm, how he acts, what he says, how he moves, see those old combinations. It’s more intriguing than any PBC fight and some of the meaningless set ups today. If boxing keeps failing to make the best vs the best, then bring back the old greats to try to save the sport. Oldtimers games in baseball and hockey and the senior tours in golf and tennis are very successful. If anyone can make boxing great again in America, it’s Mike Tyson.
