America’s Boating Channel™, the highly rated producer of safe boating and boater education videos, is launching a weekly online magazine show designed to help recreational boaters cope with sheltering at home to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The first episode of “America’s Boating Channel LIVE” will premiere Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 PM EDT on AmericasBoatingChannel.com and America’s Boating Channel’s YouTube channel.
The program will include segments on preparing in original ways to get back on the water, using time at home to create cherished boating memories, and completing vessel upgrades.
Viewers will receive tips on how to pass the time with boating motion pictures, music, and television programs; plus how to conduct virtual meetings for boaters, create nautical crafts, and keep their sense of humor.
The show is not only for boaters, it’s also by boaters, with volunteers from around the country serving remotely as segment contributors and on-camera talent.
Episode One contributors include Gary Cheney, Gene Danko, Megan Humphrey, Bob & Carol Kunath, Kathleen Nowroozani, Louie Ojeda, John O’Reilly, Andy Sumberg, Holly Tompkins, and Jim Zeigler.
America’s Boating Channel videos are now enjoying increased viewership as Americans stay home to protect themselves and others from the COVID-19 pandemic. Screening boater education videos is an excellent way for boaters to prepare for safer experiences on the water.
Production of America’s Boating Channel’s fourth season of original boating safety videos is now nearing completion. This year’s new titles, which will launch later in the Spring, include “Boater Education,” “Engine Shut-Off Devices,” “Life Jacket Care,” “Cold Weather Boating,” “Behavioral Consequences,” Introducing ATONS” (aids to navigation), “Dispelling BUI Myths“ (boating under the influence), “Life Jacket Labels,” and “Electric Shock Drowning (ESD).”
