Las Vegas Big Time Tournament Announces Streaming Platform

LV Big TimeThe Las Vegas Big Time Tournament (www.bigtimelasvegas.com) has partnered with bdG Sports (www.bdglobalsports.com) to create an online streaming platform for the summer tournament formerly known as the Fab 48. The platform will stream nearly 1,000 games of the boys 15U-17U divisions with websites for both general fans and college coaches.

“We are excited to forge this partnership with bdG Sports to showcase the thousands of kids in the Big Time Tournament,” said Gary Charles, the founder of Tip of the Hat Hoops (www.tipofthehathoops.com) and Co-Director of the Big Time Tournament. “We will create a premium platform for college coaches throughout the country to continue to scout and recruit players at the nation’s top summer tournaments. This will truly be “BIG TIME” for all involved.”

The new summer recruiting calendar will no longer permit thousands of college coaches to flock to Las Vegas as in years past. The platform of live and on-demand games for college coaches will allow access by men’s programs across the country to watch thousands of kids competing on July 24-28 in Las Vegas through a trusted provider, bdG Sports, with deeps roots in the college basketball space.

bdglobal-logobdG Sports launched its own streaming network last fall and produced more than 50 men’s and women’s college basketball games from its own NCAA Division I men’s tournaments in the Bahamas, Southwest Florida, Las Vegas and Vancouver. During the 2018-19 season, bdG oversaw 14 college basketball events with 24 of its participating teams competing in the 2019 NCAA Tournaments (men’s and women’s) including Kentucky, LSU, Notre Dame (women) and Oregon State (women).

“Our team has been producing college basketball events at MGM Resorts properties in Las Vegas since 2013 and we are excited to take this next step in partnership with Gary Charles and Grant Rice,” said Brooks Downing, President of bdG Sports. “We launched the bdG Sports Network in the fall producing and broadcasting games in four different cities and three different countries over Thanksgiving week. Through this partnership with the Big Time Tournament, we will create a premium package for college coaches that will bring thousands of recruits right into their offices as part of the network.”

Pricing for game broadcasts and the college coaches package will be announced at a later date.
