Eddie Hearn continues to make enormous offers to Deontay Wilder to fight Anthony Joshua for $15 million or $20m with a free $5m for a defense against a patsy. And $7-8m to fight Dillian Whyte or Dereck Chisora.
Wilder continues his talking puppet act of lying saying it’s Joshua who ducked the fight but the truth will never be heard from Wilder or his protectors.
“[Wilder] has lost the plot at the moment. He doesn’t know what he’s doing. He’s got a team of people around him that can’t pay him any money. We’re offering him a load of money and he thinks I’m an ****hole so he doesn’t really want to deal with me. But when he realizes I’m paying him three or four times more than everybody else,” Hearn said to Boxing News weekly magazine.
“But now I can put it on a plate, you’ve got Dillian Whyte, you’ve got Dereck Chisora, he might look at ‘Del Boy’ and go, ‘I’ll have Del Boy.’ Imagine Wilder against Chisora at the O2.”
But Wilder is too fragile to be risked by his protectors right now. Shelly Finkel and Al Haymon do not want to risk Wilder losing, they still believe they can manipulate or manufacture Wilder into a massive money making star via smart business decisions and Lord knows what else.
Finkel and Haymon know Wilder is not good enough to take the risk of getting in the ring with Joshua, Whyte or Chisora. No, Wilder is fragile and protected for years, he’s not ready to fight the best or any heavyweight Haymon can’t control.
The proposed fight with Fury is most likely all a big smokescreen drama, to make Wilder look brave and bold and fearless. Until we see both Fury and Wilder in the ring together, only then does it make sense to talk about it.
As Wilder continues to turn his nose up on Hearn’s mega million dollar offers, it looks more and more like Wilder is terrified of being exposed by the clever Brits across the pond.
Protected frauds like Deontay Wilder know their limits. Wilder knows he needs the careful protection of Finkel and Wilder and he wants that protection. Hee trusts the long term plan of 51-0 which means 11 more automatic, guaranteed, counterfeit wins.
If Wilder was not a fraud, he would sign Hearn’s contracts and punish Chisora, Whyte and Joshua one at a time.
Deontay Wilder is the biggest fraud in boxing today. And quite possibly in the history of the sport.
