As we get more and more into the business of disruption in media, two companies hell bent on figuring out the disruptive model for properties big and small are forming a partnership that will be able to deliver custom, snackable bites of content to you anywhere any time, almost in real time.
Eleven Sports and California based Thuuz Sports, two companies the US consumer may not fully be aware of but the media business certainly is, will now work together on customized short form sports video work for everyone from Ivy League football to Formula 1. It will be something that the time starved football fan will love.
“This agreement with Thuuz Sports will give fans the ability to customize and enjoy their favorite teams, league and athletes where they want, and on whatever device they choose,” said Anthony Bailey, Managing Director of Eleven Sports in a statement. “No matter how passionate the fans, their time are limited, and this will give everyone the ability to discover content and easily stay engaged for as long as they choose without missing any essential action on the field, court or the ice.”
Thuuz Sports will utilize its software platform to provide Eleven Sports with efficient and scalable production of custom video content of the sporting events airing on Eleven’s platforms. The video content will be a variety of condensed games, highlights, and cannot miss moments for any device. Thuuz has made a growing business out of a B-to-B model with broadcast carriers in the U.S. already, helping fans get custom, quick highlights for partners like NBC Sports, Fox Sports and Amazon, and will be aggressively increasing their reach in the coming months.
Eleven Sports is available in 70 million homes worldwide in Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Singapore, Taiwan and the United States. Its global footprint includes LIVE and EXCLUSIVE coverage of the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, NBA, NFL, Formula 1, ATP Tennis and action from many other sports including MMA, Darts, Badminton, T20 Cricket, Speedway and Baseball all of which makes for a wide range of highlights and engagement fast and quick, which is the Thuuz mantra.
Think of it as the NFL Red Zone channel for the global sports fan. Fast and easy, coming to a device near you.
