Ride Television Network, Inc., (RIDE TV) and the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) have announced that RIDE TV will be added to the list of non-Canadian programming services and stations authorized for distribution in Canada. RIDE TV will be the first network of its kind in Canada and will be available to subscribers across the country.
“This is groundbreaking for RIDE TV and it proves that the popularity of horses transcends the globe. Canada is a vibrant horse market, and we look forward to making RIDE TV available to subscribers on every cable, satellite or IPTV platform in the country,” said Michael Trujillo, RIDE TV’s Senior Vice President of International Distribution. “We are extremely grateful to our sponsor TELUS for their extraordinary vision in recognizing the need for a unique, entertaining and compelling network like RIDE TV in Canada.”
RIDE TV is the only TV network devoted exclusively to the horse and rural living lifestyle and is available in high definition 24 hours each day. RIDE TV produces over 90% of its content and offers original children’s programming, documentaries, reality shows, and other great content for the equestrian and rural lifestyle markets. RIDE TV’s cornerstone programming is exclusive, live, championship equestrian sports.
