I am a big fan of almost any animated film. They have a way to take crazy characters and put them in zany situations but with the right plot and heart they can become something very special. Illumination Entertainment, the same company that was behind The Lorax, The Minions movie and the wildly successful Despicable Me films is now coming out with a new picture called Sing. The newest trailer has been released online and here is what I thought of it.

Here is the plot for Sing:

“To save his theater from closing down, Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey) holds a singing contest to raise money for it and the entire town auditions for a part in the show.”

I wan unsure about how I felt about Sing from the teaser trailer we got a few months ago. This was because all it really showed was a bit of singing and nothing else. Thankfully this trailer reveals much more about this upcoming film. People get to not only hear more great songs but hear the animals who bring them to life. Yet the best part of this new trailer is finally learning the plot for this movie.

Sing has an amazing cast with Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth McFarlane, Tori Kelly, John C. Reilly, Taron Egerton and Scarlett Johansson. I am not only excited to see this cast in action but I really like the soundtrack. The songs span from a bunch of different eras yet the cast sings them beautifully. This is sure to be another animated film that the whole family can watch and enjoy together. You can learn more about Sing on its website.

If you like great songs you will want to check out this trailer. People who like animated films won’t want to miss out on this trailer. Sing comes out December 21, 2016. You can like Sing on Facebook and follow the film on Twitter too.
