The Secret Life of Pets shows that in animated films almost anything can happen. Animation  has brought toys to life, taken audiences to other planets and shown them creatures that they never knew even existed. Examples of this are the Toy Story movies, Monsters Inc. and Minions just to name a few of them. There has yet to be one about a life of house pets that shows how they act when their owners leave the home. The Secret Life of Pets plans on giving people a view into this peculiar world. The newest trailer has been released online and here is what it tells us.

The Secret Life of Pets follows Max (Loius C.K.) a jack russell terrier who is happy living with his owner Katie (Ellie Kemper). His life takes a bad turn though when one day she decides to bring a new dog home named Duke (Eric Stonestreet). He makes life for Max miserable and eats his food, sleeps in his bed and creates a rivalry for both of them. One day Duke pulls Max with him and they become lost. They get picked up and are on their way to the pound when a strange rabbit named Snowball (Kevin Hart) saves them. When Max’s friend Gidget (Jenny Slate) finds out he is missing she brings the other neighborhood animals together to try to come up with a plan to find them. Meanwhile Max is trying his best to find his way home with Duke but things are not going well. Will they be able to find their way home? Can Gidget and the other pets come up with a plan to find him? And what does Snowball and his cohorts want with Max and Duke?

The Secret Life of Pets trailer is pretty darn good. It not only tells people what the plot of this movie is but shows some new characters that were missing from the teaser. We also get to meet Duke whom is a rather humorous character that is sure to not only help move The Secret Life of Pets story along, but bring some good laughs too. There are a few scenes that were seen in the teaser like the ending but it does end the trailer on a funny note. The chug scene with all of the dogs is also very funny and this writer thinks it is a nice touch and makes him interested in seeing this movie when it comes out. It looks like a movie kids will like but there will be some things for parents to enjoy as well. The Secret Life of Pets seems like it will be a hilariously wild ride!
