Comikaze Expo’s All That Reunion!
By Jay Snook
Its hard to find a young person from my generation that doesn’t know about All That on Nickelodeon? It a one of a kind TV show that starred my age, and was made with humorous sketches that kids would enjoy. The show had a good run and created role models that kids could look up to and brought clever sketches that fans remember to this very day. I was lucky to get to witness this amazing panel at Stan Lee’s Comikaze and here are some of the highlights.
The panel began with Andre who is known as the star of Black Nerd Comedy on YouTube. He introduced some of the cast which included Kel Mitchell, Danny Tamborelli, Josh Server, Alisa Reyes, Angelique Bates, Lori Beth Denberg and so many others but as the panel went on more cast members showed up that surprised everyone including the moderator. The cast went into stories labout what it was like working together, and how strong of a bond they all developed. Many of them told stories of the great guest stars and musical guests that performed on the show.
Kel Mitchell was too glad to share some of his wonderful characters like Ed from Good Burger and Repairman which they audience just loved. Katrina Ann Johnson was more than happy to give the fans some wonderful Ross Perot which was an absolute treat to witness live. This was by far one of the best panels that happened last weekend and no one knew just what was going to happen next.
The best part of the panel was saved for last when the cast did something that made fans, they asked the whole audience to sing the theme song with them and this raised the whole thing to legendary status.
Here is the awesome finale:
This was not the first time the cast came back together (they did have a panel at New York City Comic Con) but this was the first time in years that this much of the cast went onstage at one time. It is hard to say what will happen next for the All That cast but no matter what happens this will hopefully not be the last time they do something like this. Thank you for everyone who showed up, you made the convention unforgettable for me.
